At Jamtli, the whole family can meet the cultural history of Jämtland in an entertaining way. Permanent exhibitions about the region's past are displayed side by side with temporary exhibitions that reflect the world of today. The open air museum boasts a wonderful park and exciting historical milieus.
S/S Thomée Sunday July 19, 12.00-17.30
Sweden's oldest steamer still in regular traffic. On the tour on lake Storsjön on S/S Thomée you can see the beauty of the area from the lake. The tour takes you to Verkön island where refreshments will be served. The stop at Verkön is 2,5 hours, enough time for a meal and perhaps a trip round the island.
Guided tour to Moose Garden Sunday July 19, 13.00-15.00
Enjoy the company of tame moose close up, pat them and perhaps even feed them. This is also the only place to produce moose paper. Made from moose droppings, of course.
